Providing Meals & Devices for Our Families
Many of our families are trying to find normalcy in the "new norm" which can prove to be difficult as the resources around them have are being depleted. Our youth are still having challenges with being able to get assignments on-line because they do not have devices which adds to the digital divide that students are experiencing. Additional to the digital divide parent are experiencing challenges as they are finding it harder to make ends meet due to job lost.
Thanks to partners, B'more for Healthy Babies Upton/Druid Heights (BHB) for providing 20 families with catered meals that fed families of five (5).
Our sister site City View at McCullogh was able to donate meals from the Salvation Army that fed six (6) of our seniors.
Additionally, we were able to help bridge the educational gap for youth as we were able to provide seven (7) tablets with protectors thanks to our grant from Baltimore Community Foundation  which are supports and champions for local schools. Parents also provided information as to how their child's education was impacted>>>>Pedestal's Tablet Give A Way<<<<

Thanks to residents Yolanda and Curtis who assisted their neighbors who were not feeling well by picking up their meals for them! This kind of spirit is what is needed during times like these! #PPF

                                                  Food and Essential Items Drive
In response to COVID-19, our partners So What Else Org. and MomCares, were able to assist 33 seniors and families who were directly impacted by the Coronavirus. Our partners provided the residents of Pedestal Gardens with fruits, vegetables, dairy products, toiletries and baby essentials.
With the support of our partners, we are continuing to help eliminate the barriers that our residents may encounter.
